Enlight was built on the vision to fulfill the gap between dream and reality of realising one’s potential and aspirations. This is much more so for young professionals who hold international qualifications and want to see their dreams of being successful realised in Canada. The objectives of this event are to help them gain access to the Canadian company recruiters, obtain professional licenses, develop professional skills and become leaders in their own fields.

Keynote speaker: Alfred Chung, CFA,MBA
Alfred Chung is the Director, Asian Services of TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage. He is responsible for looking after the Asian client experience at a national level in addition to acting as our media spokesperson for Chinese publications, radio and television.
He has over 12 years of investment experience and has held different roles within TD Bank Group. Before moving into his current role with TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage, Alfred was a Branch Manager at TD Canada Trust.
Alfred received his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and his Master of Business Administration from the Schulich School of Business. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst and the Financial Risk Manager professional designations.
鍾頴輝是道明宏達理財優惠投資經紀的亞洲業務總監。除了負責管理全國優惠投資部的亞洲業務外，他亦是這個部門的代言人，代表道明接受中文傳媒包括刊物電台和電視台的訪問。
他在道明銀行集團有超過十二年的理財投及資經驗。他曾擔任不同部門的管理層工作，亦曾經任職道明加拿大信托的分行經理。
鍾頴輝是多倫多大學的商學士，以及約克大學Schulich 學院的工商管理碩士。他還持有特許金融分析師牌照(CFA)，及金融風險管理專業證書(FRM)。

1. Interview skills-best ways to sell yourself (Presenter: Haiyun Wang)
The person who gets the job is the one who interviews best. In order to be that person, you will need to build more interview confidence, make a positive impression to the employers and effectively sell yourself. This session will educate you on the skills needed to impress during an interview. To learn more, please come to our breakout session to improve your interview skills.
2. Career path-define your own career path (Presenter: CGA Ontario)
Enlight is pleased to invite our speaker from CGA Ontario to describe how to plan your own career path and lead you into the future.When you start your professional life, you’ll be creating your own career from your first day on the job. The job you are going to be doing in ten years might not even exist today and plenty of jobs that do exist today may no longer be around. What we are really being forced to do is to consider how to switch career several times in our working life, which is an exciting prospect, but does need preparation and thought.
3. Tiger Den (Presenter: Katherine Brolley)
This workshop is designed for the CPAC young professionals to expend their ideas and develop them into reality. The goal is to teach them how to create their own business from the level of self-proprietorship, development of a corporation and give them the knowledge to franchise their concepts. The workshop is designed for young people to be creative, productive and work as a team to reach the common goal to be successful.
4. Personal Brand Audit
We live in a visual society where right or wrong – personal branding is vital to progressive leadership. Today your personal brand is not only your signature – it is your competitive advantage! In this seminar, personal branding expert Shannon Smith will be talking on the topic of Personal Brand Audit – 7 areas of presence, Dress & Grooming, and Physical Presence and Body Politics. If you want to increase your professional appeal, don’t miss this talk!
5. Discover Yourself for the Best Career (Presenter: Collen Lindburg)
Which careers are best suited to your personality? Your interests? Your goals? Learn different strategies to re-evaluate yourself from personal development professionals. This session will help you to discover yourself and your purpose.
6. Bank-Career at Financial industry-Banking (Presenter: Jie Chen)
Looking for banking & finance jobs? Whether you are looking for a job as a bank teller, bank manager, loan officer, commercial underwriter or business analyst, there are plenty of opportunities to find a banking job. This breakout will focus on financial industry, and discuss more about banking jobs.
