400 Young Professionals Attended CPAC Enlight’s “Connecting Communities Networking Mixer”

June 23, Toronto – CPAC’s Youth Professionals Division, Enlight, successfully held its first social event of the summer at the Easy & The Fifth Club last Friday night. The “Connecting Communities Networking Mixer”, hosted in collaboration with NAAAP, UTCAA and YTMAT, attracted more than 400 young professionals from all across the GTA. The purpose of this activity was to build a robust social platform to help young professionals and entrepreneurs to expand their network.

Enlight was built on the vision that young people can realize their potential by meeting and learning from the best in business and industry. Enlight members represent a wide variety of fields and sectors. Through these cross-industry, cross-functional collaborations, the division of CPAC hopes to help members build and develop the skills, knowledge and networks that will help them in this dynamic global marketplace.

The Connecting Communities Networking Mixer was sponsored by StudentUniverse and HSBC Bank Canada. The hosts invited Mr. Raymond Wu from HSBC Bank Canada as guest speaker and participating networking guest. Mr. Raymond Wu is now working in HSBC Bank Canada segment as a branch manager, and has over 12 years of business experience in the financial industry. One of the highlights of the evening was the lucky draw organized by sponsor StudentUniverse worth up to $1000 in value. The event also invited business professionals from various companies including Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, BMO Capital Markets, Royal Bank of Canada, CIBC, HSBC Bank Canada, Ernst & Young, Deloitte & Touché LLP, ACE Insurance Group and so on. Networking professionals helped in facilitating an interactive environment for all participants.

CPAC’s Enlight is committed to serve young professionals from all backgrounds.
