Call for Nominations: CPAC Professional Achievement Awards

The Chinese Professionals Association of Canada (CPAC) invites members of the professional community to nominate candidates for the CPAC Professional Achievement Awards.  These awards were established by the Education Foundation of CPAC in 2009 to recognize and celebrate the achievements of professional immigrants who immigrated to Canada and have achieved outstanding status in their professions.

Candidates may include individuals who:

  • Have achieved outstanding status in their profession in Canada, and/or
  • Were able to obtain employment or professional license through CPAC’s services (including bridging programs), and excel in their professions and/or
  • Have achieved successful accomplishments in a different profession than what they were trained for

Nominations are encouraged from all Canadian citizens and landed immigrants, across all professions and across the regions.

The winner(s) will be selected by the Award Selection Committee which is formed by members of the CPAC Board of Directors, and Trustees of the Education Foundation of CPAC.  The award(s) will be presented at the 2014 CPAC Gala, to be held on January 12, 2014 at Crystal Fountain in Markham, and the winner(s) will be invited to share their inspiring experiences and success stories.  CPAC hopes that these award winners will continue to be leaders in their respective communities and encourages other immigrants to overcome the challenges of adapting to their new life in Canada.

Nominations must include the completed 2013 CPAC Award Nomination Form and the resume of the candidate, and submitted by December 6, 2013 via:
