“Long Time No See” or “Moh Gihn Ho Noi” is a community photo project organized by a group of artists, photographers, educators, academics and filmmakers. After multiple Covid lockdowns, Anti-Asian racism and increasing development pressures, Chinatown needs our support now! Imagine a Toronto without Spadina Chinatown. “Long Time No See” seems once again like a poignant moment of encounter. 250 images and stories (in any language) submitted by July 31, 2021 will be formatted and printed as posters to be displayed on walls at various locations in and around Chinatown.”
