CPAC IT Division Seminar – The Wave of AI – The Truth behind the Hype
The newly founded CPAC IT Division will host its first seminar on Sunday, Feb. 25, 2018 on new developments of Artificial Intelligence (AI). Kent Yu, speaker of the seminar, will speak on the following areas in his presentation:
• A taste of AI – What can AI do today?
• Under the Hood – What’s the magic?
• Case Studies – How does it work?
• The History – Why is it different this time?
• The Timing –How is AI today like the Internet in 1995?
• I Don’t Know Anything – How can I be part of it?
Kent Yu is a lead architect and agile management expert working for the world’s largest ERP solution company serving Fortune 500 companies on retail and ecommerce solutions. Kent possesses a MBA degree from Schulich Business School. Kent combines his expertise in technology with his business skills to apply high-technologies in the business environment. In the past 10 years he founded two companies with application of the latest technologies, one of which was sold to a NASDAQ listed company.Kent is now working in the field of “semi-supervised and unsupervised deep learning”, a machine learning technique that enables machines to learn with limited human labeled data.
