CPAC President, Eric Xiao, is Recognized as CPA Fellows of 2018

The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (CPA Ontario) recognizes 52 of its members as Fellows (FCPAs), the highest distinction that is bestowed upon a CPA within the accounting profession.As one of the FCPAs, CPAC President, Eric Xiao gain this honor for his volunteerism, leadership and commitment to the profession.

Eric Xiao is a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young (EY) Canada and leads the Toronto Transaction Tax practice. As the lead tax partner on numerous M&A transactions, Eric is responsible for bringing the firm’s services to multinational clients on transactions. Eric was the first Chinese immigrant to be promoted to partner at EY Canada, and is a recognized role model for young immigrants in his field. Eric is a member of the Joint Committee on Taxation of the Canadian Bar Association and CPA Canada, and is also President of CPAC , where he has made a significant contributions in assisting immigrant professionals to find mentors and advance their professional careers in Canada.
