Speaker Biography:

Bob Guo,MBA.CIM

CEO of Goldenmount Capital International Inc

Mr. Guo is the founder and CEO of Goldenmount Capital International Inc. as well as the Managing Partner at Tianjin Huizhi Private Equity Fund in China. In addition, he is an Independent Director of China Green Star Agricultural Corporation (TSX-V: GRE). Prior to that, Mr. Guo has many years of experience working at TD and BMO in Canada, providing financial and advisory services to corporate and individual investors. As a result, he won the 6th ‘Chinese Business Excellence Award’ for his unparalleled expertise and dedicated professional services. Mr. Guo graduated from Schulich School of Business, York University with a MBA degree in Finance and holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation

Giovanni Gonzalez

Vice President, Public Affairs of Invest Toronto

Mr. Gonzalez graduated from university of toronto. Had 9 years of progressive experience in client services, market research, analysis, marketing, and business development. Track record of developing new business by bringing in numerous account relationships, identifying various opportunities, and contributing $18 million USD in foreign direct investment (FDI) to the pipe and $70,000 CDN in contracts . In addition, Mr Gonzalez had 4.5 years of cumulative experience in a project management environment and Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) candidate

Malcolm MacTaggart BAS, MBA, CMA, CIM

Executive Director of the Spark Angel Investment Network

Malcolm was General Manager of Microsoft, during its start-up years in Canada. In his last corporate role, he built a Canadian technology firm into a global player, sold the firm to a European private-equity group and retired from corporate life in 2006. He’s a serial entrepreneur and Angel investor who’s financed or grown 11 different startups. Malcolm is an Ivey MBA, Certified Management Accountant and a Chartered Investment Manager. He’s the Executive Director of the Spark Angel Investment Network and teaches a variety of courses at York University, UOIT, Durham College and Trent University.
