For a Better Workplace: Attend Public Consultation Meeting on Sept.11

The Ministry of Labour will be hosting a public consultation meeting in Scarborough on Sept 11th, Delta Hotel, 9 – 5pm. CPAC strongly encourages our members to participate in this province-wide discussion on improving the Labour Relations Act, 1995 and Employment Standards Act, 2000 and to best protect workers while supporting businesses in our changing economy. You can also submit any written comments to the Ministry of Labour by email, fax and mail (Please see the following contact info for the details.) Comments are encouraged throughout the consultation period and will be accepted until September 18, 2015.

MPP Soo Wong has specifically asked Minister Flynn to have this consultation meeting in Scarborough. Hence, it would be good to have some good representations from Scarborough-Agincourt agencies and residents.
