“How to be Assertive in the Workplace”, Seminar on July 31, presented by Ms. Soo Wong,

Do you want to feel confident while enjoying your work in your workplace? Please join us at the seminar on “How to be Assertive in the Workplace”, and you will know how. Presented by Ms. Soo Wong, Member of Provincial Parliament for Scarborough-Agincourt, Ontario.

Ms. Soo Wong is known for getting results. As a Registered Nurse (for over 25 years), Professor of Nursing, nursing home administrator, and in other professional health care roles, Soo has been a compassionate caregiver. She has the energy, experience, and ideas to make our local health care better. As Public School Trustee, Soo successfully increased ESL education across the TDSB and secured new playgrounds, additions, and improvements to local schools. An effective manager, Soo is known to deliver needed programs on tight budgets. Soo moved to Canada with her family at age eight. She speaks fluent English and Cantonese.

Being a RN, professor in nursing school and a prominent politician, the first Chinese woman elected member of Ontario Legislative Assembly, she is a great role model and encouragement for many nurses and other professionals from China and other countries.
