Brief introduction of the speaker:
Lori Dalton is with the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. She works with students, workforce and internationally educated professionals, providing them with the information they need to pursue a career in accounting and finance. Her interactive workshop will show the power of networking and offer hints and tips to effective networking and do’s and don’ts.
Lori has an eye for identifying talent and steering others in the right direction. Prior to joining CPA Ontario, Lori was a hiring manager at IBM Finance. When she is not helping students pursue their passion for business and accounting, Lori is fulfilling her own passion by travelling the globe. Her time abroad helps her work with internationally educated professionals. She provides great advice on how best to transition into the Canadian accounting profession.

About CPAC Professionals Day 2015
The free event will present an exciting lineup of speakers, employers and service providers designed to assist internationally trained professionals in their search for successful careers in Canada. The one-day event features a success panel and eight breakout sessions on various career related topics ranging from honing interview skills to managing conflicts in the workplace. With CPAC combining the Professionals Day with their young professionals division (Enlight)’s Encounter Career Development Conference this year, the event will have a selection of workshops for both young and seasoned professionals.
