Speaker: Jill Fagan
This workshop will discuss how to get hired, noticed and promoted while navigating the challenges of new language, customs and work cultures.
Jill Fagan has worked as a consultant and as a senior staff member with advertising agencies for the past 15 years. Jill led the HR at Wunderman Toronto and was part of the Y&R Brands Global HR Team. Jill’s role involved coaching and training to all levels of the organization in the form of one-on-one sessions and workshops.
In 2009, Jill created Jill Fagan & Associates with service and partnership as its guiding values. She continues as a trusted advisor to her clients and candidates in the areas of search, employee engagement, culture and coaching. She has worked with many candidates and clients to explore and uncover what makes a great hire. Her training includes fundamental HR programs, Personality Testing and Workplace Dynamics, Leadership Development, and Emotional Intelligence.

The free event will present an exciting lineup of speakers, employers and service providers designed to assist internationally trained professionals in their search for successful careers in Canada. The one-day event features a success panel and eight breakout sessions on various career related topics ranging from honing interview skills to managing conflicts in the workplace. With CPAC combining the Professionals Day with their young professionals division (Enlight)’s Encounter Career Development Conference this year, the event will have a selection of workshops for both young and seasoned professionals.
