Jeffrey Han

CEO and Owner of Virtuo360 Global

Keynote on: Marketing and self-branding
Jeffrey Han is the CEO and Owner of Virtuo360 Global which is a Marketing, Social Branding and Google Certified Firm. Recently contracted by Google to work with businesses and showcase their interiors in Google search results and Google maps for the world to see. The firm has an impressive list of clients across industries, such as Shangri-La Hotel Toronto, McDonalds, Trump Hotel, Mazda and etc.

Prior open Virtuo360Global, Jeffrey was President of Frag Ad Media and Shock communications, he is definitely an extremely experienced professional in Marketing and social media, In 2012, Jeff won Google Business Photos’ Marketing and Public Relationship Reward.

 

Yang Hai Wang

Yang-Hai Wang is a Senior Program Manager with IBM. She is responsible for leading and managing Self Service programs in technology solutions, marketing and sales, focusing on financial institutions. She joined IBM in 1984 as a system analyst, progressed her career from a computer programmer to leadership roles in product development, management, marketing and sales management. Yang-Hai graduated from University of Toronto and she brought a wealth of knowledge in both technology and business across different industries including Financial Industry, Retail, Distribution, and Small and Medium Businesses.

 

Kevin Zhu, CFA, CMT

Director of Asset Mix & Risk at Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan

Keynote on: Career Development and Hiring of Talent

Kevin Zhu is the Director of Asset Mix & Risk at the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan. Mr. Zhu is responsible for overseeing research directly contributing to the development of the fund’s long-term investment strategy and policy asset mix decisions. His team’s primary research focuses are strategic portfolio construction, asset allocation and liability driven investment strategies. Mr. Zhu is also responsible for producing the long-term asset return forecasts in the Economic & Market Outlook, which is an important component for the annual Investment Plan.

Mr. Zhu joined Teachers’ in 2005 as a Sr. Investment Analyst and has risen steadily through positions of increasing responsibilities. Prior to joining the Teachers’, Mr. Zhu served as a Senior Economist at the Bank of Canada where he was one of the key contributors to the development of the Bank of Canada’s new policy model. Mr. Zhu holds a Master degree in Economics from Carleton University in Ottawa, and is a CFA charterholder.

Lian Guan, PhD, has 20 years’ experience in IT and business management. He is the President of I-Lek Technology Inc. which is a business and technology consulting firm specializing in IT strategy and governance, enterprise architecture, and business development.
Over the past 3 years, Lian has provided services to Toronto Hydro, City of Toronto, SinoCom Software Group, NavInfo, Optech and AiSIDe etc. on a wide range of IT and business engagements, such as implementing COBIT, TOGAF, IT governance, and business development. Prior to I-Lek, he was a Senior Manager and Architect consultant in Enterprise Architecture at Bank of Montreal. During the professional career, he has been with Oracle, NCR, Royal Bank of Canada, Deloitte and Touche etc.

 

Mira Sirotic, CMA

Regional Director, Marketing & Communications – GTA Post-Secondary, Certified Management Accountants of Ontario

Keynote on: Leadership and how to create value

Mira graduated from Waterloo’s School of Accountancy, loves to share her career insights, and the many lessons she learns from industry, to help people become more successful. Mira joined CMA Ontario in Sept. 2007 after working 10 years for Imperial Oil Limited (IOL). During her time at IOL, she held 8 diverse roles in 6 different business units. From financial reporting & analysis, product costing, business planning and process improvement to capital budgeting, internal controls, business reorganizations and major IT systems implementations, Mira has had many opportunities to apply her CMA training that combines accounting, management and strategy. Prior to IOL, Mira applied her skills at Manulife, Hudson’s Bay Company and The McMichael Canadian Art Collection.
