Principal Objective:
Reporting to Sr. Supply Chain Procurement Manager, this role is to support MRO material and service purchases.
Responsibilities:
- Creating purchase orders
- Finding cost-effective sources for supplies
- Negotiating with vendors and suppliers for pricing, lead times and quality
- Analyzing competing offers
- Monitoring inventory levels
- Keeping excellent communication flows with internal departments
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word
Detailed oriented
Good Communication skill – Verbal & Written
Good Organizational skill
Knowledge in paper carton and/or label packaging an asset
Dynamic, meticulous and effective
Ability to perform multiple tasks in parallel
Excellent team work skills
Requirements:
1 – 2 years working experience preferred
