Only one spot left – Sign up for the Leadership Program

CPAC and TD Bank teamed together to develop a leadership development program (LDP). Class of 2015 will start its training soon.  This is a very unique program designed specifically for established professionals. The program is focused on overcoming the challenges encountered by technical professionals who are in the process of moving into leadership roles or those who are already in management positions but wish to improve their management and leadership skills. (This program is open to anyone from any cultural background)

The following topics are some of the highlights of the CPAC-TD LDP 2015:

  • Key attributes that a good manager needs to have in the North America workplace
  • Secrets of influencing management, peers, and employees
  • Strategies for managing your team successfully
  • Practical tools and techniques for facilitating effective meetings
  • Powerful skills to manage workplace conflict
  • In-depth analysis and understanding of leadership styles and individual personality.

Program instructors include executive advisors, senior consultants, and university professors from well-known consulting/training companies and Canadian educational institutions. In addition to in-class training, mentoring is a value-added component of the program. Participants will be matched with mentors from a wide range of industries, including engineering, finance, IT, consulting, government, etc. Mentors are CEOs, Senior VPs, or Directors who have years of senior management and professional experience, as well as valuable insights into their respective industries that they will share.

Exclusive to graduates of the program, the CPAC Leadership Club provides a platform for its members to further develop leadership skills, share learning experience and build networks. The club offers a wide range of professional development activities and events throughout the year.

The uniqueness of the program lies in its three component structure: in-class training, mentoring and the leadership club, all of which work together as a multi-dimensional, continuous learning platform for established professionals to advance their careers and become leaders.

Since its inception in 2010, the CPAC-TD LDP has helped more than 100 people successfully move from technical roles into management positions or from junior positions to senior leadership ones.

The program is sponsored by TD Bank Group and subsidized by CPAC.
