Racism and Mental Health Training for Settlement and Community Workers

CPAC is pleased to introduce a free pilot training program for settlement and community workers, provided by the ACCT Foundation under its “Building Anti-Racism Capacity through Mental Health Research, Resources and Training” project.

  • Participants: Open to all settlement and community workers, with no limit to the number of participants from any organization
  • Learning Outcomes: Participants will gain in-depth knowledge about anti-Asian racism and its impact on Asian Canadians’ wellbeing and develop practical skills to support victims of racism.
  • Learning Format: Online hybrid, 4 hours of facilitated discussion and reflection and 11 hours of self-paced learning.
  • Duration and Dates: 4 weeks, May 15 – June 9, 2023 (Cohort 1), or July 10 – August 4, 2023 (Cohort 2)
